New blog over there on the left....

Hey, readers,

I'd like to call your attention to the new blog over there on the left: Chicks With Kicks. It's a group running blog stared by a couple of my old friends from Boulder. They kindly invited me to contribute, so occasionally, when I'm friends with Running and not letting Running rule my life, I'll jot some thoughts on that site.

The other contributors, Erin and Jess, are two of the kindest women I've ever had the pleasure to know, and I can't tell you how happy I am to be back in touch with them.

Those of you who are into working out will probably love this new blog, as it offers hilarious tales of sports bra woes, getting back on the horse after a hiatus, short shorts and more.

Katie! Thanks so much for the shout-out. I'm flattered. And am so glad you've signed on. We certainly look forward to the times when you and running can get along nicely. As you know, it never really leaves you, even if you try to leave it. I'm hoping my own relationship stays amiable and clear of hostility, resentment, and the crazies!

I just wanted to thank you for your comment today, Katie.

Over breakfast my aunt actually said to me, "at least he was doing what he loved." I thought of you post on that particular topic.

Sometimes I watch a workout show on television while eating a double scoop of low fat ice cream. The most exercise I get is lifting the spoon to my lips. As long as it's okay for me to nibble while I read, I'll surely check it out.

You make me laugh out loud. You are my cause to celebrate, which, ironically is not the same as my cause celebre. (Just thought I'd point that out.) Thank you for Arnie Ramone and Red Vicious and Amy "Sprinkles" Sedaris. So damn delicious*.

*You. Not Amy**.

**Well, ok. Maybe Amy too.
