I'm from Pennsylvania, see?

So Groundhog Day is a very, very big deal.

Very, very big.

I'm thinking of making some official Groundhog Sugar Cookies tonight. Incidentally, even though they use the same recipe as Holiday Sugar Cookies (and those include both Dreidel and Christmas Tree Sugar Cookies), Valentine's Day Sugar Cookies, Birthday Sugar Cookies and I-Need-a-Vehicle-From-Which-to-Consume-Icing Cookies, Groundhog Sugar Cookies taste different....More gamey, I suppose.

Didn't the groundhog say more winter? Yahoo! Nothing better than more snow. We took a weekend off (I thought I would accomplish great things around the house but really just sulked because there's huge snow in the Sierras and I'm not in it), but we're headed up next weekend.

Gamey is good in my book. :)

I took the weekend off, too! I am just feeling a little burned out on training for an upcoming rando race, so I thought I'd cook and clean and do "normal people things." Well, for two days, anyway.

But I couldn't sleep last night because I couldn't shake the feeling that I'd wasted a perfectly good weekend of turns.

Oh well. Now I know better.

Oh yeah, because my "normal people things" included setting the oven on fire, breaking the vacuum cleaner and ironing clothing into ruins within a 2 hour period.

I'm pretty sure my husband has had it with my attempts at housework.
