This is tonight's dinner.
Orecchiette with broccoli florets, soy bacon crumbles and fresh parm.
Yum.
Dinner followed a long run in the foothills with Arnie.
We were hunting coyotes, who were yipping and singing to the setting sun.
And now we're watching 2 Days in Paris, which I'm loving. Acerbic and quick with smart, natural dialogue. Makes me want to move to Paris, but then, so does everything: alarm clocks, kleenex, driving through the city, driving through the country, choosing a new sofa, the number 12, Thursdays, jaunty toques...you name it.
Someday soon. As soon as we can figure out how to get to Europe with the dogs - with zero to minimal time in quarantine.
Anyone have any ideas?

OK, good. I'm glad you're eating better. I thought I was going to have to fly out there (with my skis, of course) and make you something healthy. :)
I just watched 2 Days in Paris too. I had no idea that Adam Goldberg was so damn hot. Alors, a demain, mon amie? Je vais te telephoner.
Well, Cindy, anytime you feel the need to cook for a lazy girl in Utah, you are welcome. And we've got skis, my friend. Like, more skis than room in the garage (that's one of the benefits of being married to a rep), so you can show up empty-handed.
And Martha/Marit/CarrotCakeLady - oui, let's talk later. I'd love some coffee and gossip.
Yeah, that bowl of chow looked awesome. Including the faux bacon bites. Which means I'm super hungry and need to go peel a clementine.
Oh, and like you - j'adore Paris. The luscious food, beautiful architecture, breathtaking art and even the arrogance of the natives - I love it all.
